This is a short documentary about Benjamin, a successful yet borderline real estate agent who struggles to fit in his conformist environnement. When shall the hidden artist behind Benjamin's official identity attend its full coming out ? How does his "serious" life choice suggested by his relatives has affected his mental health over time ? This "one step away from full confidence" time-zone as he likes to call it is what we tried to grasp while following him through his daily life.

This short documentary is a portrait of Eric Schumacher’s work process and philosophy. He is an emerging Luxembourgish artist who was awarded with the Prix Grand Ducal 2021. He was also a part of the exhibition “Schaufenster II” in Konschthal Esch. This film was produced by the Konschthal Esch museum.
We tried to express Eric’s high humility and sense of humour with a joking and “meme-ish” aesthetic along this contemporary art video. We found a similarly off-balance approach with the art world in his creative work, which is why we chose to use this tone to paint his portrait.
